Hotel Hilton Santo Domingo – 809-685-0000 Front Desk -Recepcion Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriate Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person assist guests in all their needs Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities and travel directions. Compute bills and take payments. Explain appropriate use of keys and ensure that guests are satisfied with the rooms allotted to them. Walk around with the client and ensuring that they secure whatever services they are in need of. Reservaciones: Processes reservations by mail, telephone, or central reservation systems referral. Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout. Knows the selling status, rates, and benefits of all packages plans. Knows the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation Communicates reservation information to the front desk. Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the front desk. Understands the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows. Service line: Tomar todas las llamadas realizadas desde las habitaciones y areas de todo el hotel. Postear en el sistema cualquier situación que requiera una inmediata supervisión/corrección en alguna de las áreas del hotel. Ofrecer información actualizada a los clientes externos que llaman al hotel sobre precios de habitaciones/servicios/actividades. Tomar pedidos de room service. Tomar los pedidos de las habitaciones en cuestion de necesidades basicas (toallas,shampoo etc).
